Quilting Corners Guild
is a new group welcoming all levels of quilters, men and women. We meet the
first Tuesday of the month from Feb until Dec with no Jan meeting at the
Lion's Hall on
Maple Lane
in Alliston. We are currently offering a block of the month, have just
successfully completed a tinners club
and make quilts for the Lions to repay their hospitality. We are a new guild
of about 50 members. We invite all levels of quilters to join us 11 months
of the year. We have show and tell every month and a number of guild
challenges.
Next meeting
is June 3 2008 at 7:00 P.M.
We are having our Pot Luck
dinner this month. All members are
encouraged to bring something. No rules this time as to what
half of the alphabet brings what type of item, lets see what we get by just
old luck.
*Advance notice to all:
The July meeting will in fact be the second Tuesday (July 8) due to the
fact the first Tuesday is July 1and a Holiday for most.
Meet us at the Alliston Lion's Hall located at Maple Lane Alliston.
Show and tell. (Bring your completed Block of the Month.
Completed as in all the blocks that you have diligently completed on time
now assembled with the finishing instructions into a top, hopefully also
quilted and bound).
